With this book the well-known Swiss author Gian Trepp addresses one of the most virulent problems of today's international financial markets, namely the infiltration of legal business by dirty money.

It is difficult to contradict Gian Trepp when he finds in his preface that money laundering has only recently been recognised as a major problem of the international and national financial markets and the entire economy; and the author is certainly correct when he anticipates substantial international pressure and a fundamental loss of reputation for those jurisdictions who are hesitant to deal with money laundering in an adequate way.
